Handcrafting
Leather Roses Since 1997
Some gifts get thrown away. Ours don’t.
For nearly three decades, our studio in Hackensack, New Jersey has been handcrafting leather roses that last a lifetime. Not because we needed to reinvent the rose, but because we love working with leather and realized we could make one that could still be sitting on a shelf thirty years from now.
“We didn’t set out to build a luxury brand. We set out to build a beautiful leather rose.
The luxury part happened on its own.”
Every petal. by hand. since 1997
The Craft

Each rose starts as a flat piece of genuine suede leather. Every petal is individually hand-cut and shaped to capture the natural curl and layering of a real bloom. The stems are built on fully bendable wire cores, wrapped in floral tape, and finished with lifelike leaves.
No two roses are identical. That’s not a flaw. That’s the point. The same subtle variation you see in a garden — where every bloom opens a little differently — exists in our work because every petal is shaped by hand, not stamped by a machine.
The construction is built to last a lifetime. These aren’t decorative. They’re structural. The kind of craftsmanship where you pick one up and immediately feel the difference.
Not Manufactured. Handcrafted.
The Studio
Our studio has been in Hackensack, New Jersey since 1997. That’s where every rose is made, every bouquet is assembled, and every order ships from.
We’re not a dropshipper. We’re not a marketplace. When you order from Leather & Roses, your bouquet is built by the same hands that have been doing this work for nearly thirty years. No shortcuts. No mass production. The same skill and quality since day one.
Who Gives Leather Roses
People who think about gifts differently. Who’d rather give one perfect thing than ten forgettable ones.
The husband who wants his third anniversary to mean something thirty years from now. The bride who wants her bouquet to last as long as her marriage. The person who walks past the florist because fresh flowers feel temporary and they’re looking for something permanent.
This isn’t an impulse buy. It never has been. Every order is a deliberate choice — and that’s exactly the kind of customer we built this for.

But what we’re proudest of is simpler than that
people still have our roses from orders placed ten, fifteen, twenty years ago.
That's the point.
